Gabriella Crespi
Greatly inspired by the innovations introduced by Le Corbusier and Lloyd Wright, Gabriella Crespi created pieces of furniture and objects that could combine design and sculptural abstraction. She also managed to promote these new ideas worldwide. Her distinctive and unique mark is easily recognisable in the elegant, dynamic and sophisticated forms of her design pieces.
The use of materials, such as wood, metal, stones and lacquers, together with the ability to truly transform an object into something that is everchanging, allowed Gabriella Crespi to gain momentum and become well-known on the international scene throughout the 1960s and the 1970s.
