Lucio Fontana
Lucio Fontana was an Italian artist, ceramist and sculptor who initiated the Spatial movement. His art was widely acknowledged after the Second World War and stood out for its ability to scratch, pierce, puncture and, at times, even rip the space of the canvas and the paper. Fontana achieved so thanks to the creative freedom that was always intrinsic to his oeuvre and which greatly influenced his artistic development over times and styles.
