Turi Simeti

Turi Simeti is an Italian artist and sculptor who expresses his creativity through compositions that make sole use of monochrome and relief. His oeuvre is mostly structured around just one geometric element, usually the ellipse, which has become his main focus of attention within his artistic practice.
From the 1970s onwards, his artworks have displayed a further synthesis, showing a certain closeness of the artist to the ideas and theories of Minimalism.
