Aldo tura
Aldo Tura was an Italian designer who was very active in the 1950s. Inspired by the Art Deco and Modern movements, he created unique and exclusive design pieces characterised by upscale materials, sculptural forms and rare manufacturing techniques.
His works are characterised by exotic materials, such as parchment and goat skin, together with vivid hues of red, green and yellow. Tura always favoured complex designs and techniques which would be difficult to employ in a large-scale production process, as a means of preserve the authenticity of his pieces.
