Franco Albini

Franco Albini was an influential designer who played a key role in the development of a rationalist philosophy in the context of architecture, furniture, industrial design and museum display.
Albini rose to fame after collaborating with the graphic designer Bob Noorda on the project for the stations of the Line 1 underground in Milan.
In the context of architecture and design, his works are to be perceived as the core of an innovative approach to the architectural culture that developed throughout Italy in the early 20th-Century.
