Gianfranco Frattini

Gianfranco Frattini

Gianfranco Frattini was an Italian architect and designer.
He greatly contributed to the development of the Italian Design Movement in the late 1950s and throughout the 1960s. He founded his Atelier in Milan after working with Gio Ponti for several years. He started his career working at Cassina in 1954 and then collaborating with brands and manufacturers, such as Bernini, Fantoni, Artemide, Acerbis, Arteluce and Knoll. His projects extend from industrial design to architecture. However, he was greatly active in the realm of interior design.
