Romeo Rega

Romeo Rega was an Italian designer of the mid-20th Century. His career started off in a modest workshop in the Trastevere area in Rome, where he worked with wrought iron and soon discovered his ability to create and make design pieces. In the 1970s, during the golden years of design, Rega applied the traditional principles of the moulding and wrought iron working processes to novel industrial materials, such as brass, steel and Perspex. That was how the Romeo Rega brand was born.
